What is it?

Sage 200 allows the import of certain data as standard. Our CSV Import for Sage 200 tool simply automates the importing of data into Sage 200. This avoids data imports being missed out, data being imported multiple times, etc.

How does it work?

The CSV Import for Sage 200 module is very simple to set up – it requires folders to be set up for each type of file to be imported e.g. customers, sales ledger transactions, etc

Once set up any file that is saved in the correct location will be processed as follows:

•    File is checked for correct format

o    ‘good’ files are processed and saved in new location and referenced
o    ‘failed’ files are saved in a new location

•    In both cases a log file is created

o    This becomes useful should a restore of an old back up be required
o    This lists all files that will be required to be processed again

Does it do any other imports?

Our CSV Import for Sage 200 will automate only standard data imports available in Sage 200. However we have an another module that allows non-standard imports e.g  Sales and Purchase Orders – this is called Sage 200 Data Exchange and allows transfer in other formats such as XML.

How much does it cost?

We charge £800 plus £240 annual costs. Your annual support and maintenance entitles you to all upgrades/revisions - simply download the latest update from your account.  Our products are licensed and annual support and maintenance is necessary for continued operation.
