Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus

The Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus module has been created to provide enhancements to the Sage 200 order entry screen in POP.

The module aims to ensure that all information required by an end user is easily available from the order entry screen, and that order entry is made as rapid as possible.

Some of the main features are outlined below:

Rapid Line Entry


Allows for a grid style rapid entry form to be used within the order entry screen.  It is easy to switch back and forth between this and the standard order entry.

Extends the “standard” Sage screen


Utilising the order entry screen means no further training on additional complex screens, and also that the functionality can be used via Sage 200 CRM.

Outlook style Toolbar


The toolbar avoids the screen appearing cluttered, and allows for growth as we create additional utilities.  Some of these utilities are listed below:
  • Add Historical Items – add items purchased previously by the supplier
  • Add Previous Order – add items from a supplier’s’s previous order(s)
  • View Outstanding PO’s – check to see whether an item is currently awaiting delivery to a customer order
  • Amend Stock Item Prices – amend stock prices per price band
  • Create New Stock Item – create new stock item 
  • Amend Supplier Account – allows supplier account to be amended

Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus utilises the standard Sage screen, making it an easy transition for existing users of the software.

The utilities toolbar and grid style entry screen are intuitive and easy to follow.

The screen can be easily configured so only the appropriate utilities are made available, and the order entry grid shows only the columns the end user actually needs.

Retrieve information about previously ordered items in different ways without leaving the order entry screen.  Choose whether to buy items at the previous price or not, and add multiple items to the purchase order at the click of a button.

Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus includes utilities which allow the user to change stock prices and details of the stock item without leaving the order entry screen, saving the user from having to remember to make the changes after the order has been entered.

Sage 200 Purchase Order Plus allows not only for rapid creation of a purchase order, but also for the order to be received at the click of a button.    The user is prompted after clicking Save and Receive All for the delivery date and reference number.

Supplier Price Bands

Our Purchase Order Plus module allows you to set up quantity break discounts for suppliers. These can be set up at either individual stock item level or as a quantity break discount on a product group, with the option to aggregate discounts across the product group.
